Group of Polymer Special Synthesis and Processing (PSSP)

• Group of PSSP is dedicated in research and teaching in polymer design and synthesis, polymer chemistry and polymer reactive processing.

• Base on rational molecular design strategy, Group of PSSP’s research addresses problems in applied chemistry, particularly, in polymer chemistry and material science “bottom-up”. Currently, Group of PSSP’s interest is focused on: a) design and synthesis of topological specialized polymers; b) living polymerizations; c) new polymerization methods development; d) synthesis and processing of polyurethane (PU) based materials; e) polymeric materials for optoelectronic applications; and f) synthesis and processing of inorganic/organic hybrid materials.

• Group of PSSP has four full professors and one associated professors, more than forty graduate students. Group of PSSP has accomplished a variety of important projects entrusted by national and local government and funding agencies and enterprises. Group of PSSP also has great international cooperation with many universities from France, Japan and USA.
